Nahum Kedem, PG  - President

Nahum has over 25 years of experience in environmental, geotechnical and civil engineering and consulting.  He holds a graduate degree in Hydrogeology with undergraduate studies in Geology, Civil and Geotechnical Engineering and Architecture.  His uniquely diversified experience and expertise have allowed him to provide clients with practical and effective solutions to their most complex environmental projects.

He has participated in, managed, reviewed, provided QA/QC and prepared proposals, protocols, specifications, reports and presentations for thousands of projects including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Subsurface Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Remedial Alternative Analysis, Remedial Designs, Remedial Action Work Plans and Remedial Oversight.  The investigative and remedial projects consisted of sites with potential or actual contaminated soil, groundwater, free product, or soil vapor.  Numerous projects entailed complex multi-phase/multi-media impacts.

His experience also includes petroleum storage system evaluation, management, regulatory compliance, closure assessment, upgrading and new system design, and NEPA studies.

Mr. Kedem has worked on both, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) sites and New York City Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) sites.  He regularly works with New York City Mayor’s Office of Environmental Remediation (OER) in performing all required investigations and remedial planning and oversight for clients with “E” designated sites for Hazardous Materials, Noise or Air Quality and assists clients with enrolling eligible sites into the VCP.  He is a Gold-Certified OER Brownfield Environmental Professional for New York City VCP and the New York City Brownfield Incentive Grant Program.
